    Otherwise known as “Ping Pong!”

IAPS TABLE TENNIS

Table Tennis is a competition with singles and doubles events for men and women. Athletes from China have dominated the sport in the Olympic Games, winning a total of 47 medals in 28 events, including 24 gold medals. Table Tennis is a sport played in the UK both recreationally and competitively. The IAPS tournament encourages children to practice their competitive match play in an inclusive environment.

Tournament Information

  • U11 + U13 boys and girls singles
  • Schools may enter 4 competitors per age group
  • A round robin competition will be followed by a knockout cup and plate competition


Equipment

  • Players should be dressed appropriately.
  • No white shirts are to be worn.
  • Tracksuits are not suitable for actual play.

Rules & Regulations

  • All competitors must attend an IAPS School
  • Competitors ages should be taken from 1 September 2017.
  • The tournament is conducted under Table Tennis England’s rules and regulations.
