10th Anniversary
  • 2020 will mark the 10th Anniversary of the IAPS Ski Championships. To celebrate, new races have been added to the program.

    Age Groups
  • U9
  • U11 (U9 – U11 inclusive)
  • U13 (U9 – U13 inclusive)

  • Schedule
    Saturday or Sunday - Schools arrive
    Monday - Race training and Ski Cross Race
    Tuesday - Qualifying race and team selection
    Wednesday - Plate and Parellel Races
    Thursday - Championship and parents/coach fancy dress race, followed by the awards ceremony
    Friday - Schools depart

  • We encourage schools to bring their own race skis and boots.
  • The Bulferetti family can assist your school in transporting equipment to the competition.
  • Ski helmets must be worn at all times.

  • Merchandise

    Shirt Logos Ltd
  • As the official merchandisers for IAPS, they sell branded products both online and at events throughout the year. All of the commission made from the merchandise is reinvested into the sports programme, to keep improving the events every year.

  • Team hoodies
  • Shirt Logos can produce team hoodies for schools. Place your order online and have your personalised hoodies sent directly to your school or collect them at the event.

  • Entry Requirements

    Entry numbers
  • Schools may enter a maximum of 16 competitors, with a ratio of 1 adult for every 6 competitors.

  • Teams
  • Teams must be made up of competitors from the same school.

  • Eligibility
  • All competitors must attend an IAPS school.
  • Competitors may only compete in one age group throughout the competition.
  • Only a member of school staff, with a school email address, can book onto IAPS sports events online.
  • Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis.

  • Date of birth
  • The competitors age must be taken from the 1 September 2019.

  • Costs and accommodation

  • Click here for the cost of the Championships.
  • Direct flights to Italy are not included in the cost of the event and should be booked by your school.

  • Accommodation
  • All school staff, competitors and coaches will be given priority for booking in a number of local hotels.
  • Whilst we encourage spectators to come and are delighted to have them supporting the event, this is a schools championships and priority must be given to schools in the main hotels.
  • Parents will not be accommodated until all schools have been accommodated for and the event is full.
  • If schools wish to stay with their parents, they will be accommodated in sister hotels in Passo de Tonale.

    Rules and regulations
  • These championships are conducted under the BSS guidelines.

  • Competitor details
  • Once you have booked for this event, you must complete your competitors details online before the entry deadline.
  • The link to submit your competitors details can be found in the confirmation email sent to you immediately after booking online.
  • If you do not receive the confirmation email, you can log into your account via our website and re-send yourself the email.

  • SOCS
  • IAPS will use SOCS to display live results for all the netball events.
  • Individual competition sites will be shared by the host school before the event.

  • Safeguarding
  • IAPS believe that the welfare and wellbeing of all children and adults at risk attending an IAPS event is of the highest concern.
  • The IAPS Safeguarding Policy and Procedures sets out our approach to safeguarding and child protection.

  • Risk assessment
  • A full risk assessment is carried out between IAPS and host venues.
  • A copy can be provided on request. Please contact sport@iaps.uk .

  • Insurance
  • Schools must take out their own insurance for this event. IAPS recommends you speak to either Marsh or Zurich for a quote.

  • Photography
  • There will be no professional photography at any IAPS events.
  • Parents and spectators can take their own pictures. There is no law against taking photos at public events for personal use, including pictures of other people's children.
