    IAPS 2016 inaugural girls' cricket competitions saw 280 girls' compete.

IAPS CRICKET (GIRLS)

For the first time ever IAPS hosted a series of cricket festivals in the 2016 summer term held across 5 schools. The festivals took place at Ashford, Bede's, Framingham College, Moreton First and St Faith's and saw 280 girls' from 28 schools compete. With the success of the GB women's Cricket World Cup team in the summer of 2016, we hope this event will grow year on year!

Tournament Information

  • • Eight-a-side pairs cricket
  • • Squads of a maximum of ten players
  • • One eight over (six ball) innings per team
  • • Each pair bats for two overs
  • • All members of the fielding side to bowl one over each
  • • Pitch length 18 yards
  • • Kwik Cricket equipment was used in all cases (no wooden bats permitted)
