School information pack

- The information pack will be made available in due course. 
- The pack explains everything you need to know before making your trip down to the London Aquatics Centre on Saturday 8 June.

- There is a section for coaches and spectators. Please read all of the information carefully, there is a lot to take in!
- Programmes will be available on arrival.

  

Certificate of participation

- A participation certificate is available to download and award to competitors. 
- The certificate is downloadable here.

 

 How to get to the LAC

- Public transport is the best and easiest way to get to and from the LAC, either by train, underground, bus or cycle.

- The nearest underground stations are Stratford (10-minute walk) and Hackney Wick (15-minute walk)

- Stratford International station is just a 5-minute walk away

- St Pancras International & Kings Cross stations are just seven minutes away by train to Stratford International

- The M25 is only a 25 minutes’ drive away. · Car parking is available in nearby Westfield, this provides the best full day rate.

- There are more than 140 cycle racks outside the London Aquatics Centre, including a Santander Cycles docking station located outside the centre

On arrival to Stratford

- Follow signs for the Olympic Park.

- As you walk towards the Olympic stadium with Westfield shopping centre behind you, LAC is on the left-hand side.

- You will see the big glass fronted entrance. You should use this entrance and not the one located on the ground floor.

- You will arrive in the foyer where there will be signs for coaches and spectators to register.

Bag and ticket checks

Security will be checking bags before allowing spectators into the gala. 

- No food or drink can be brought in to the building. 

- Please have your tickets ready either as hard copy or on your phone. 

 

Meet mobile app

- The mobile app is available to download here.

- All heat sheets and final races will be available on the app.

- There will be no printed results available on the day.

- All results will be available after the event on the app.

- The app is available to download on the app store (apple devices) or via google play (android devices).

Merchandise
- Our official merchandiser, Shirt Logos, will be at the event.

- They will be there from start to finish!

- A limited number of stock will be available on the day.

- Pre-orders can be made online and collected on the day.

- Team hoodies - place your order online and have your team hoodies sent directly to your school before the event / collect on the day.

- Any commission made from the merchandise is put directly back into the sports programme, to keep improving the events every year.

 

Booking Information

Qualification for the finals is by participating in a swimming qualifying gala.
